Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks remain undefeated as the Texas Rangers win their first World Series title

Longtime Texas Rangers fan Luka Doncic celebrated his team's first World Series win on Twitter, "Champions !!!!!!@Rangers."

Doncic watched Game 2 of the World Series against the Arizona Rattlers with Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki, but the Pacers ended up losing 9-1. Doncic jokingly blamed Nowitzki for the loss, saying, "See, the Pacers are 2-1. in fact, it's all Dirk's fault, so blame Dirk, not me."

The Pacers won the World Series in Game 5, and Doncic tweeted before the game, "One more game to go !!!!! @Rangers don't worry @swish41 & I won't be at the game."

On the same night the Pacers won the World Series, the Mavericks defeated the Chicago Bulls to remain undefeated. Against the Bulls, Doncic had a poor shooting performance, but he still had 18 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and two steals.

The Mavericks will now travel to Denver to face the defending champion Nuggets.
